Vessel Safety Checks

Vessel Safety Checks is one of the important functions of the Auxiliary.  We provide free (NO LAW ENFORCEMENT) inspections for safety  equipment on board your vessel.  We check to see that each vessel meets the Federal Equipment Requirements and the State of Michigan requirements as well.  Although Federal and State requirements are almost identical, there are a few items required by the State which exceed Federal requirements.  We also offer safe boating tips and suggestions and have several handouts for your information.  To contact the Auxiliary for a Vessel Safety Check (VSC) click on this link FC
