Public Education

We are not currently doing classroom Public Education courses but we are promoting the Auxiliary ABC course. (America's Boating Course)  This course can be taught in a class room environment but is more frequently used as a home study course in our area.   ABC allows the student to proceed at their own pace.  Topics covered in the course are...Know Your Boat,  What to do Before You Get Underway, Navigation, Operating Your Boat or PWC, Legal Requirements, Boating Emergencies, and Enjoying Water Sports With Your Boat.  Text books can be obtained by clicking on the link below, and once the student feels ready for the exam, contact an exam proctor at the same link below.   A certificate of completion and wallet size card will be issued with a passing score.
